About ACMA
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is responsible for the regulation of broadcasting, the internet, radiocommunications and telecommunications.
ACMA manages a national cybersafety program which includes:
- researching trends in cybersafety
- undertaking targeted information and awareness campaigns and activities
- developing cybersafety education materials for use in schools.
ACMA’s cybersafety activities aim to give children, and their parents and carers, sound advice on how best to manage online risks, so their experiences are safe and positive.
